Adieu! ! ! ! Mother
If only you were here
to get back more of what you gave
your fruits are ripe
yet you are not here
your days are prolonged
yet you are no more flesh but bones
you sleep now without a consciousness
i hope you are truly resting as they say
we never discussed your going
yet you are long gone
adieu! ! ! ! ! mother, adieu! ! !
i will write you again.
