Adversities Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Adversities

Life at times seems a tale of woes
The bulb inside your room glows
Yet you never feel the flow
To smile and let your face glow
Life indeed strikes hard blows
Time and tide flows
You may wail or cry
You may want your soul to fly
Up to your creator
Coz you are with your fear
Fear of loneliness engulfs you
You are unable to enjoy the view
Outside or inside as designed by Nature
Coz you have deviated from the path and gone afar
You are in an astray
Although you strive to keep worries at bay
But then after the night grows dark the sun rise
The south wind blows and the cuckoo flies
Music sounds in your ear
Ultimately you cheer.
