Throughout man's history, God has blessed us
Giving us purpose and reason to exist.
When we live only to satisfy our own needs
We're never aware of all we have missed.

There is some good in all of us
Which may not show at first.
With good character of heart and soul
We prepare ourselves for the worst.

Adversity's hardships bring us together
When trust is the source of our every need.
As we count on God and heed His will
We overcome foulness, temptation and greed.

Whichever the pathway we choose to take
We realize there'll be brambles.
For the all who have visions every day of life
Will always be the same that gambles.
