Afraid - Poem by Mitchell Long

Wicked lines in tepid dreams
Waking up to unknown screams
Walk away from fray and waste
Knowing fear, a craving taste
You walk away, sad, alone
YOU know the screams, are your own

Poet's Notes about The Poem

It was a breif thought waking up one night, cold, the window was wide open, and the moon was shining brighter than i had ever seen it.
