After His Burial Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

After His Burial

Rating: 5.0

You went away
on your journey
never to return to me.

A pain whichgoes down
to my deepest bones
spread in my body.

Every evening I wait for you
and I want to live in this hope.

When the door bell clings
I run to the door steps
believing that itis you.

When will you come again?

I see you in my dreams
that you call me to you
into your loving arms.

Sobbing I try to sleep again.
