After Writing A Poem Poem by Sandra Feldman

After Writing A Poem

Rating: 5.0

I always feel better
After writing a poem,
As if I had accomplished
To place,
Certain lose things,
In their place.
And there's a calm
That satisfies,
With the softness
And delicacy,
Of the finest lace.

That glorious moment
Can be so fulfilling,
So full of loving grace,
As anguish takes a rest
Because writing is
What I love best.

Beautiful poem, Sandra. I fully am with you when you say that writing a poem does give you a lovely feeling of satisfaction. The joy multiplies when you have completed it. It is a tender feeling, soft like the lace......a glorious moment, indeed........5 stars

You have such an open way of writing! There can be joy bubbling perkily in your words- or there can be sorrow sighing in the breeze at night. Always lush, always your truth, always appealing. Top marks though these score cards do not seem to respond to my vote
