Ah Non. (Translation) . Poem by Michael Walker

To me, this is a lyric written in the language of tenderness, quite different to the diction of'I Know a Man'. I picture a reunion with the friends of our lifetime, that could happen one day.
Robert Creeley read this poem in Auckland on his reading tour back in 1976. It was one I remembered.Creeley also gave lectures and poetry readings in: Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin, at their universities.
