All Alone Poem by Jayce McCormick

All Alone

Enough is said and enough has been done
By now I have lost all hope
I don't see the point of caring anymore
And I have reached the end of my rope

It has been lifted and I am left
Sitting here all alone
Darkness filling every corner
Not the faintest of light is shown

I have hope that someone will rescue me
To make me feel at home
But for as long as my heart is empty and cold
I will sit here all alone...

And no one cares...

Hi this is sad. Just want to show you're not alone The day it was over Dear Chelsey as I board the bus home, the same one I took to see you two days ago now fills with nothing but empty space. The excitement which came to meet me, impatiently leading the way to you had disappeared with the clouds. Today, a voice whispers “you were living in clouds, you’re always living in clouds” The small New Hampshire town Where you go to school will rise and dwell in the blue of some mountain, and its remnants will hover over me from time to time; perhaps in your name, or on a walk when shadow of mountains is cast over me. We were close; caressing you arms your hair, your white thighs and kissed your face. Then I kissed your mouth not knowing that slowly, words begin to form themselves like soldiers after many sleepless nights. Words that speak for “truth and honesty” you confessed. I too, look at love in the novelty of dreams, And often find passion, fresh and fleeting, though we perceive best in thin air. The memories of your voice, conversations, dinner and movie, the passion that came before and left yesterday; months and days dwindled to one moment, when my head fell on your shoulder, dividing past and the present. “Don’t let me go”, then I knew it was over. The memories of that small New Hampshire town where you are will rise and find refuge in the haze of that blue mountain, and they will reverberate time and again, perhaps on a walk when shadow of mountains is cast over me. Everything dwindled to that one moment, the perpetual ending that is my story.
