She came to me in dreams of glorious mist
A trembling pleasure I couldn’t resist
Her flowing gown hiding promises to come
A weakness overcame me I wanted to run
As she approached my confused mind
I gazed at her beauty before I went blind
A smile playfully whispered I’m yours
My heart leaves my body and soars
In my brain dead confusion I blurted
A saying that seemed badly worded
I’ve been thinking of you all day long
Never thinking I’d hear you in a song
A fragrant finger caressed my ear
Sending messages I’ve wanted to hear
I stared in wonder at her graceful look
I’ll enclose her beauty in my new book
