All I Have Feared Poem by Melissa Koeman

All I Have Feared

A weird feeling has taken me over
I look at the world around me in confusion
Where did it all go wrong?
I think this will be my final hour
The sky turns to scarlet
Faces turn to me
I hear them laugh
Now the fear comes and grabs me by the throat
I’m waiting
To be swallowed
Is this the final judgment?
Through my tears I see you
But I can’t seem to reach you
Now I’m lost in the crowd
Slowly I drown with you in my heart
