All My Love To You Poem by Louise Tredoux

All My Love To You

While you are happily gallivanting
in the sun, fixing Landy’s and having
fun, I’m sitting here at a Ladies Meeting,
for some unfathomable reason I got
roped in to do my duty offering tea, my
soul is not here, it is hanging over your
shoulder, my spirit is probably with you
too, only my body and mind have been
cornered in this space, the rest of me is
caressing and kissing you, can you feel
it in the soft touch of the breeze, in the
hot sun warming you, taking all my love
to you?
