All The Distant Galaxies Poem by Shalom Freedman

All The Distant Galaxies

All the distant galaxies
Are dust to most of us
Worlds upon worlds
Too large for our own dreams
And perceptions-

And we in our own minor worlds
A universe in ourselves
Not knowing how far
The Mind itself can travel
To remain forever
alone and unknown.
