All This Pain And All This Accusation Poem by Shalom Freedman

All This Pain And All This Accusation

ALL THIS PAIN AND ALL THIS ACCUSATION

All this pain and all this accusation
And all this condemnation
What do they mean?
I am not worthy truly
But did I cause all this?
If there were another universe
I doubt I would have the courage to go it
But meantime the old one gets worse and worse
And I remain alone
Compensating myself
With small lines.
