alone i weep
alone i cry
alone i bear the lonely night
and alone has left me my shadow; in the lack of light.

Standing in the land
where darkness prevails
I ask
why am i punishing myself
Is it for loving you?
Or never confessing the same?

Confession would have snatched my friend
The friend I've lost anyways
'cause its called love
now what I have.
I thought
I'd live forever with your memories
But they have left me alone too
in time's reign.

So here I stand
in the land where darkness prevails
realising i can't cry
anymore!
'cause again
tears have left me alone
