Alone Poem by Travis Estes

Alone

Rating: 5.0

Wrapped in a cloak of darkness and despair.
It's warm embrace a familiar agony to a lonely soul.

Wandering through life with the knowledge that he is forever doomed to an existence torn from the darkest pits of hell.

He walks forever, choking on the horrid taste of his own alienness.
A sorrow so deep that the soul shrivels and bleeds, tormented.

It rises like bile, rancid and painful, to remind him that he is alone.

Forever Alone.

So he continues his walk, hidden behind mirrors so that none can see the truth.
Always hoping that one day his endless suffering will end.
