Am Really Sunk Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Am Really Sunk

Rating: 3.5

No one would shed a tear
You only have to bear
Little only I could hear
You were only near and dear

I knew you won’t come back
It was devastating set back
I am not so bold and frank
My ship is aground and ready to sink

I am on loosing ground
You are no where to be found
Whole world may not grieve
My eyes still not believe

What even if all are to disappear?
Dark clouds may definitely appear
I have been left high and dry
How will I live peacefully and try?

In a few moments shall be gone
Whole life’s work may undone
In my remaining life I shall miss
As you have preferred death kiss

In life you a now no more
You have tried for victory to score
I can do nothing but to adore
You have left nothing to explore

I too shall follow
Nothing better for tomorrow
It is approaching and getting narrow
I have no courage to withstand and swallow

It is quite difficult to forget
I may not allow other memory to let
You may stay in inner depth of soul
I may cherish it without smelling foul

It is bitter but naked truth
Who will come to me to soothe
I shall ever remain as incapacitated
Such things are real and co related

In no time you may be deemed as person non-existent
It may be unbearable to great extent
I shall still bear no grudge
The fate is supreme and has clear edge
