American Politics - 2019 Poem by Darwin Henry Beuning

American Politics - 2019

Rating: 5.0

The first Democratic Debates
Are set for 26 and 27 June,
Two nights, Four hours.

Ten candidates each session,
Vying for America's highest post,

President - United States of America,

None will stand a chance.

The only thing,
That will prevent President Trump
From a second term is FATE.

May the good Lord
Bless him and keep him.

Trump is hard to survive, but perhaps Hillary would have been worse.

You are right: Trump dominates US politics, more so as his term advances.
