Amour Poem by Poornima Kapoor

Amour

Rating: 5.0

When the sun woke up from its dream and reddened the sky via its gleam
It was time for the white sun to wrap itself within the clouds and lay asleep.
From the heaven gushed the cascade; angels in disguise making their way ahead
Holding onto our souls amid the voice of splashing water; destined to live forever
Breathing life in blossoms they lay; supple and sparkling on gravel night and day
Just like the sunshine of the early dawn; illuminating an eternal paradise in our soul
A scarlet bloom of love sweet and pleasing; though will droop on age’s bleak emotion
Yet still its faded leaves will disclose; the fragrance of its earliest moon like blossom
