An Angel Poem by Leopold Gunther

An Angel

Rating: 5.0

Your eyes cannot be vague to me my dove
For you have shown me a new light
One which renews
One with shines through
To me you are an angel
Penetrating all of my darkness
Nevermore should my demons creep on me
Nevermore shall they bend and break me
For my heart has already been torn before
Yet you have mended it my love
My angel of light, my dawning hope, my sweet reminisce
Your hair scatters the very cares of the world for me my love
Its golden blonde shimmer is as brilliant as the sun
It reminds to me that there will be day tomorrow and nay forever night
