AN ANGEL
AN ANGEL
An angel named the baby
That was born in Bethlehem
An angel gave to Joseph
His directions for God’s plan.
An angel gave Zachariah
The name for his son too
As his wife Elizabeth marveled
Just at what our God would do
The angel of the Lord
The angel Gabriel
With some heaven sent directions
Had such wondrous news to tell
These women were God chosen
To birth Israeli sons
One annointed, John the Baptist
The other Salvation's Song
Emmanuel God with us
Hallelujah for that name
We sing the songs of Jesus
Salvation to proclaim
Our sins can be forgiven
When truly we repent
The grandest news on earth
From Heavens now been sent
We sing a Merry Christmas
We have a happy heart
We are, a redeemed people
O Lord How Great Thou Art!
