Life's sweetest joy can be found in your smile,
An Eastern Flame upon the horizon,
Sweetness wed to the purest class and style.
You are the female form of Mozart's 'Requiem'.
And may Angels sing you softly to sleep,
And may the Sun upon you always shine.
May no peak or valley ever be too steep,
May your happiness exceed even mine.
For rare is the one who easily inspires,
Whose charm is limitless and without bounds,
Aglow with the flames of forest fires,
And whose voice is of Nature's sweetest sounds.
It's difficult for me to simply say,
The quiet sentiments found inside my heart,
But believe me that whenever I pray,
It's for God's Grace from thee, never to depart.
A nice poetic imagination, Brett. You may like to read my poem, Love and Lust. Thanks

What woman WOULDN'T want such words written of her? I'm saving this one to my favourite poems. - - From another romantic. Be forwarned, however, that romantics are prone to having their hearts easily broken (but I suppose that you already knew that.) It does make for some great poetry, though!
