An Empty House Poem by Edwina Reizer

An Empty House

A house that's always empty
always feels its pain.
It's hollow and it's lifeless
and knows that it's insane
to shelter not a single soul
and hear no welcome sounds
because all of its rooms are vacant
and emptiness surrounds
its space.

A house that's always empty
wears a lonely face.
