An Everyday Routine Poem by Nashy Lamen

An Everyday Routine

Abstract paintings, musical writes,
A number divided to another,
A remainder left..
All thoughts put aside...
Awaken from her foggy dream..
Unclear.. Unheard of..
A slap, a snap..
Then everything settles back..
Then she realizes..
what a monster she was..
Being kind-hearted..
But In truth she was cruel..
She lost the trust of her friends,
Damaged greatly by words
from betrayed hearts..
Masks yet another pain,
Vanished abruptly into mid-air,
she kept anticipating until it would haunt her again..
Trying to abscond from her issues,
Trying to shut her mouth,
NO WORDS brought out, she failed to do so..
Every word sharp,
pierced through not only her heart but others..
Shuts up again and sleeps to be sure..
Wakes up with what was left undone,
back to thinking..
back to work...
Back to reality,
back to pain..
back to life..
Every day lived out..
lived through..
to tolerate such misery..
She grasps onto her curse..
Since there is nothing she can do
to reverse such blasphemy..
To isolate herself from the world..
was maybe one solution she'd take..
But there would be no definite result nor definite answer..
There again she sits and waits..
If there would be a change
in her miserable routine..

Isolation never was the answer...you learn to forgive..yourself first..it is after you've done that that you could face those friends of yours and say your apologies..forgiveness might be given then, but for trust..you must earn. Nice write!
