An Individual Universe Poem by Fred Babbin

An Individual Universe

Rating: 2.4

It is an infinite universe,
An impermanent universe,
An empty universe
That is full
Of emptiness.
An asexual universe
That is sexual
Because it is individual
As the raisins in the pudding
Are individually sexual.
You were born
You live
You grow old
You die
But you are sexual
As long as you think you are
Because you are
an individual universe.

A poem with a new dimension: 'Because you are an individual universe.' Nice.

We are in truth, Fred, bound up in thought, but nevertheless we are part of the glorious whole. We are, or can chose to be, The Conquerors. This piece I wrote as an illumination of the fact. I would appreciate your comments on it. Best wishes from Fay.
