An Irrational Defense Of Time Poem by Peter Timothy McQueeny

An Irrational Defense Of Time

Rating: 2.3

Oh yeah
It sure is helpful
But there is only one moment
We all ignore the single instant
That is infinity
With our finite, corporeal pleasures
Infinite in number, we are
Consumed by this commodity
So scarce
Yet so unending
We are given it as a gift
From the universe to the universe
Along with
SPACE (infinite)
PROBABILITY (infinite)
POSSIBILITY (infinite)
PHYSICS(finite)
THE TRUE LANGUAGE OF THE UNIVERSE (knowable/known)
Given these gifts:
EVERYTHING WILL HAPPEN AT ALL TIMES IN ALL PLACES IN ALL KNOWN AND UNKNOWN UNIVERSES (actually it is right now)
Now
Or not now
But not tomorrow
No, now
Would be a good time to get ready
Strap on your time machine jet pack that is your consciousness
Fire that baby up
It’s time to evolve
