An Old Lady's Mother Poem by Anne Yun

An Old Lady's Mother

Rating: 4.8

How many mothers can i have?
i asked when i was still a child
definitly, one could never be enough
even for this day when i am already old

Old glances of innumerable eyes
flash back in some sleepless nights
i cannot count how many hi
try to rewind years through lights

Names i've even not heard
not alone match with the figure
only glances my heart still hold
that's enough to be an old lady's mother

Your poetry is a breath of fresh air and being like a rose fresh and young, keep doing what you do for all of them.. iip
