An Unforgettable Life (Second Verison) Poem by Makina Nakamura

An Unforgettable Life (Second Verison)

The day when my beloved smile fades,
the sky darkened.
I turned around, looking over my shoulder
at the emptiness.
I had no hope.

My mind was full of flashbacks.
My life
My joy
My future
everything is gone.

I closed my eyes slowly...
Let the memories flow through me.
The pain isn't what I wanted to feel.
my pain isn't my future
but the death is my future.

I'll remember this peaceful sky
above me.
So peaceful that it awakens no pain.
It was when I died.
My body was no longer on this earth.

I've said my farewell
like I could live on forever and forever...
