An Universe Within Poem by Arun Maji

If you want to be a star,
behave like a star.

What star does?
He shines.
He never sees if others shine or not.

When you focus on yourself
you discover
an infinite universe hiding within you.
You feel like unfolding that elegant universe.
You shine,
and you light up this world.

But if you look at others,
you start seeing a painful emptiness within you.
That emptiness pains you, angers you,
make you envious.
Abandoned,
the infinite universe within you
cries in despair,
and hangs itself to death.
