the ancient glowing light
flight of a firefly at night
firefly dances in delight

flight in darkest night
will shine brightest
firefly shines brightest

in night darkness darkest
catch magical ephemeral
firefly light in palm hand

let magical ephemeral
light shine between fingers
lit hand darkness glow

a moment
ephemeral light
held seconds

each seconds heartbeat
hand mind is bathed
in seed wondrous light

slowly open hand
palm lease firefly
dark flight dance

in freedom night
release ancient
glowing light

firefly ephemeral
light share a point
spectral vibrant

light released
into dark ocean
sea escape night
