And The Door Is Shut To Happiness Poem by Noemi Lee

And The Door Is Shut To Happiness

No happiness Im so sorry,
you, my dear, are uninvited.

Better luck next time ok?
And for future reference,
When I invite you,
You better run here.
And when you get here
You'd better not be so quick to disappear!
If the door is closed it is only your own fault.

What do you mean I 'threw you out'?
I would never do that.
I have manners you know.

Well, I don't think
I would throw you out...
Would I?

Noemi, happiness is certainly a fleeting emotion made worse by the fact that sometimes we go out of our way to sabotage it. Good write... well done! ! Brian
