And Then It Rained
You're hard to get over
yet no tears will be shed.
Lifetimes will pass
in the blink of an eye
and the dead will remain where they fell.
I bent steel bars
changed the course of mighty rivers
and went to the stars
yet everyone says:
Who are you?
You don't know me
you don't even know who I am.
I've existed
ever since there was light...
And then it rained.
