And Then There Came You Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

And Then There Came You

Nobody likes the thought of being lonely
Somedays I just want someone to hold real close
caress and kiss so soft
Someone I can please all through the night
Someone who'd love and treat me right

Sometimes when we're alone, I think
Are you ready, ready to love me forever
It's something about the look that you give me
does something to me each and every time you're staring at me
Whatever it is you do to me, keep on doing, because it's working baby

I can't explain what it is about you that got me so weak
You've got my undivided attention
I asked for a love and I found much more than what I'd seek
it provided me with a vision
beyond anything i could ever imagine

You ignite the fire inside my heart
and now I burn with passion
whenever i'm caught in your embrace
I feel an energy not a word can describe
a connection between two lost souls
who've found their way to one another
a love that'll last forever and always
