Angel Poem by Rebecca Stansfield

Angel

Rating: 4.5

Not being able to sit again,
sitting.
You have left me for the angles.
The angles did not take you, but you wanted to be their friend.

Not able to think of anything,
but
Did I cause your departure?
Maybe not or maybe so,
Why did I never realise?

That I was and I'm still in love with you.
There is no time for essence.
Why did I never listen to my heart?
That said I was in love with you.

Meet angles, and play,
And when I'm one,
I
Will play with you all.

I'm sorry but what now,
Now what do I do?
What now?

I promised myself eleven minuets ago that I'd chase you,
But,
What now?
Not being able to speak again,
sitting,
Sitting, waiting for you.
