That she is the World's greatest living political leader there can be no doubt
She has shown the World what compassion is about
The German Chancellor Angela Merkel the World leader for fair play
As a humanitarian she does lead the way
The banner of a fair go for all Angela Merkel did seize
When her Government gave home to a million refugees
Since their political leader is in a class of her own
Germany as a Nation in stature has grown
In a World of many mean spirited political leaders she is a shining light
A woman who leads with compassion and intelligence, wisdom and insight
In a World where racism and intolerance has reached a new height
Angela Merkel is one who does lead to unite
A more tolerant Human World she strives to create
And for this she is one we ought to celebrate.
