Angels Of The Earth Poem by Shreshtha Goel

Angels Of The Earth

Rating: 4.8

They talk about the angels as such-
As the stars which twinkle
in the skies these days,
They relate them as
the fresh and dancing joyful rays,
And the beings who
give out hope always.
They say it for
the companions of god,
For those who
live in heaven abode,
For those who follow
the footsteps of the great lord,
They say angels
are the companions of god.
They'll say this to you
with confidence in their eyes,
And they'll add on
that those with wings
And those who have
overhead yellow rings
They are the true angels,
including the queens and kings.
But I'll say for the angels as such-
I'll say they are
just like people as us
With twinkling eyes
and a simple nose,
And cheeks flushed
in a color of rose,
And of-course
a feet with toes,
I'll say they exist
in a form as such.
And I'll say this
for the people out there,
The people who help
those who are in need,
The people who are selfless,
who detest greed,
They are the true angels indeed
