A Carrol On Christmas Poem by Shreshtha Goel

A Carrol On Christmas

Rating: 5.0

The Snow was coming down heavily,
Painting the holiday landscape white
Distant bells were heard everywhere
From santa's reindeer ride.
Old scrooge was in his merriest spirits,
And all angels were in search of wings
(if you are the "bah humbug" type,
They do get it when a bell rings.)
Children were pelting snow at each other,
Christmas rush was everywhere,
The bakers were handing out hot cakes
To see that the poor get their merry share.
Each fire place was adorned with guests,
And each table with sweet pudding,
The spirit of Christmas was ruling merry hearts
And in children, excitement was cooking.
Clarence had come down on joseph's bidding,
To help good, old George survive,
The kind and happy spirit spread thoroughly,
Truly showing, it's a wonderful life.
Outside, laughter was in full flow,
All troubles were set aside,
Everyone was kind and good
The day Santa came in his reindeer ride.
