Animals Too Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Animals Too

Animal too

It is clear race
Between life and death to choose
The danger is faced by little hare
The lion makes final attack and hare jumps with fear

Life seems to be dear for every one
It is not ended simply by anyone
I skipped a beat
And watched it for many minutes

But what is happening here?
The lion pounced on pry and little one's life was feared
But to my utter surprise, the lion stopped
The dear was not harmed

The lion showed kind gesture
The deer too moved with leisure
There was no enmity
But only love excelled in its beauty

I had read about cruel robber turn saint
But here wild animal maintains
The kindest regard for small creature
If this can be shown by human beings for poor
