Annville Paradise Being Terrorized By Two Big Dogs Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

Suddenly, two big dogs chased our five kittens
On swimming pool deck, at the back of our house.
One is a brown Lab, the other is black-dotted white Great Dane.
Five kittens ran for their lives
Terror filled their eyes
Their hearts jumped out of their chests.
They managed to get to their hiding place under the deck
However, little Monkey was few steps behind in her run.
One big dog grabbed her back and she fought to escape.
Big brother BlackPearl tried to escort her to hiding place.
However, these big dogs were vigorous and determined.
The second time they chased and attacked
Poor little Monkey bled from her back!
After this event, Annville Paradise kittens became terrified
Five kittens became more alert and ready to fly.
They were set to watch out for themselves, days and nights
For any sudden sound, smell and sight.
They built in their new reflexes to run for their lives
At the sounds of dog collar bells or sounds alike
Even from a far distance that their owners couldn't hear.
My wife decided to ask our neighbors for help.
One neighbor apologized for her brown Lab
Her dog's invisible fence was damaged by storm Jonas.
Since then, her brown Lab stopped coming.
However the black-dotted white Great Dane still roams around.
Our kittens now creep very cautiously around the house
They run for their lives as soon as they hear dog collar bell.
May God bless our kittens Paradise and give them Peace.

Bất thần, hai chó tấn công
Trên sân hồ tắm, mèo chơi sau nhà.
Một con chó lớn, mầu nâu
Một con chó trắng, chấm đen khắp mình.
Năm mèo vội chạy thật nhanh
Mặt mày hết vía, tim nhanh muốn ngừng.
Chạy nhanh, mèo nấp dưới sàn
Monkey mèo út, chẳng may bị vồ.
Mèo này vận sức, vọt mau
BlackPearl cố gắng cứu em của mình.
Chẳng may, chó lớn mạnh, mau
Chúng vồ lần nữa, Monkey trúng đòn.
Monkey lưng chảy máu tươi..
Thế là từ đó, mèo lo qúa chừng.
Năm mèo cảnh giác không ngừng
Khi rình, khi lắng tai nghe chó về.
Năm mèo, bất kể ngày đêm
Giật mình tiếng động, chuông kêu, chạy liền.
Chủ chưa thấy chó mon men
Nhưng nghe mèo chạy, biết liền chó đây.
Vợ tôi cầu cứu người quanh
Một người nhận lỗi, chó nâu nhốt rồi.
Nhưng mà nỗi khổ chưa xong
Một con chó đốm vẫn còn đi hoang.
Năm mèo rón rén quanh nhà
Nhưng nghe chuông chó vội vàng trốn mau.
Chúa ơi, xin giúp mèo này
Tai qua, nạn khỏi, thấy ngày bình an.
