Another Day, Another Dollar - Poem by Colin Coplin

Another day, another dollar
Crisp white shirt and a plastic collar
Don’t want to work today
Home’s where I want to stay
Got my guitar to play
And an old piano

Round white table and a rocky chair
Beneath the grape vines and the summer air
Up in the hills, I like it there
Distant ocean view, without a care

Lazy, lazy day
Breeze blowing all my cares away
Lazy, lazy day
I think I’ll take a holiday
