One Night With You Poem by Colin Coplin

One Night With You

Rating: 4.5

One night with you, is what I’m praying for
One night in heaven, to last forever more

Other girls, never quite right
Shop candy, all sugar and spice
May taste good, but after a while
Leaves you hungry, well into the night
What you got, no other can give
It may be pleasure, it may be sin
But a life without you, hurts me too much
Give me your loving, one night in heaven
Take away the hunger, give me your love

I long to touch, your sweet lips
I long to kiss, every part of you
Take my heart, take it for keeps
Give me your love and one night with you

One night with you, is what I’m praying for
One night in heaven, to last forever more

Other girls, never quite right
Shop candy, all sugar and spice
May taste good, but after a while
Leaves you hungry, well into the night
What you got, no other can give
It may be pleasure, it may be sin
But a life without you, hurts me too much
Give me your loving, one night in heaven
Take away the hunger, give me your love

I long to touch, your sweet lips
I long to kiss, every part of you
Take my heart, take it for keeps
Give me your love and one night with you

One night with you, is what I’m praying for
One night in heaven, to last forever more
