Another Lonely Christmas Poem by Beau Bennett

Another Lonely Christmas

I only want you happy
Yes, even at this cost
But every time I see you smile
I'm reminded of what I lost
I still bleed for you at night
But my bleeding's almost done
I could turn and walk away
Even though I need to run
The pain is only growing now
I think I'll milk it for all it's worth
I know there's other women out there
But there's only one you, upon this earth
I know I have a chance somewhere
But I'm trapped by this thought
A dream with you and me in it
And a place where I'm something I'm not
