Another One Night Stand Poem by Randy McClave

Another One Night Stand

I met her in a club
In her bag there was a ticket stub,
She was here alone on holiday
And I asked her if she was going my way.
She was drinking just a little bit
Then on her I began to hit,
I told her how sexy and how hot she was
And I think that I was most certainly in love.
I complimented her on her clothes and her look
And how her picture belonged in a fashion book,
And then she had a another drink
Then from my flirts and conversation she began to think.
I asked her if she wanted to come to my place
Then I saw a smile light up her face,
She then told me that she and a friend was on vacation
Both seeking some fun, thought and relaxation.
Across the street she and a friend shared a flat
Then we quickly ended our chat,
Then towards the club's door we started our walk
Holding hands we then ended our talk.
Then I drove her straightaway to my house
Where tonight in my hopes she would be my spouse,
Then I opened the door and I let her in
Then the fun and excitement did begin.
We hungrily kissed as we began to undress
About each other's body we happily did impress,
Then we happily ended up in my bed
Not enough words of excitement or pleasure could be said.
Each other we did wantonly please
And also each other we did happily tease,
And during the night as we played our adult game
Not once did I ask her for her name.
In the morning I was wearing a smile when I awoke
She was already dressed having a smoke,
She then smiled at me with her taxi fare in her hand
Because she knew, she was just another one night stand.
