Answering The Call Poem by Patricia Gale

Answering The Call

Rating: 5.0

As tears streamed down his face
His lips quivered as he spoke
I am afraid, my heart is pulling, but I am so afraid

What will my friends say?
I won’t be able to be with them any more
How will they treat me?
They will make fun of me….

Compassion filled her as she held his hand
And wiped his tears
Follow your heart and they will understand
You will find new friends and a new love

He mumbled, I hear someone calling my name

She replied, Answer

And he knelt before two pieces of wood
Three nails and One Man
And asked him into his life…
