With pen in hand my mind begins to wonder
Circles and lines half written
Then your name appears
Next to I love you
I try not to think of you
But the heart has a mind of its own
Being almost independent and strong willed
It has the say for the night
The paper becomes filled with thoughts of you
Desires, longing moments
Dream states left unvisited
A sigh forms and it begins again
Circles and lines
Dots and hoops
Hearts filled with I love you
Creating the dream that comes every night
A poem of miraculous discovery. Miraculous to discover something obvious, in full view, but not consciously observed. Until the truth, like geometry, cannot be evaded, cannot be questioned. The most difficult thing is often the most simple. This poem blows the obscuring dust off the heart with gentlest of breath.
'I try not to think of you But the heart has a mind of its own Being almost independent and strong willed It has the say for the night' like every stanza in this poem these sentiments are wonderfully expressed, the heart is often rules the quiet of the night, thoughts desires dream states manifest in lines dots circles hoops ever looping back to the one loved in an inescapeable I Love You; a beautifully crafted poem
Working together with the muse of love. Thanks for sharing.
'Circles and lines Dots and hoops Hearts filled with I love you Creating the dream that comes every night' Beautifully said. Sometimes we cannot but think about that one person we love.. Thank you.

WOW! Blew me completely away! ! ! Beautiful, wonderful words. Very descriptive verses. Well done for getting recognition for the day.
No wonder people go mad with love. Hearts of true love can use practically anything to express his/her feelings, just the same way poetess here uses circles and lines. Congrats for being the member's PoD. Thanks for the poem of profundity.
...heart has a mind of its own, but there is power in I love you!
