Anxiety Poem by Nana Cruz

Anxiety

Anxiety

My eyes are wide,
My face ablank,
The tears I hide,
The gnawing I can’t…

Hours have passed,
In the mirror I see
A face aghast
Of the damage hands breed…

I take a substance
Then place down in bed
The pieces and fragments
Of my tormented head…
