We have remained obsessed
With material gain and never chased
Real goal in personal life
It was limited to face only edge of knife

The moment we gained position
We had no more questions
Life moved with faster rate
And there was nothing like fate

We enjoyed material pleasure
As there was no problem for future
We never asked what really was needed
For so many years we never thought or conceded

Ah! What is this? Why it happened?
Why mother all of sudden was declared dead?
No disease or no disorder still she has left us
No amount of money could save her from clutches of death

Still we love so much
And learn nothing as such
For momentary loss we become upset
We come back to material world and set

Until you are kicked from the beginning
Or given no food for dining
You will not know the real worth
Till it is approached by the death
