April The 23rd Poem by Along Bar

April The 23rd

Along the lane I staggered
Somewhere away with a thought.
Waited by, humid were the winds,
The blant comfort it brought

But I, blazed by the noon's sun
Could see only her shape as the one
Though, as ignorant as she seemed to be
Still, through the breeze, beneath the sun,

We walked slowly, she smiled too
And I smiled, how would she know
What's beneath this smile? She knew!
How do I describe the dreams she drew

In my mind, that evening with her eyes
And though silently we strolled along,
I begged the winds for the words in me,
To unveil and sing soft, like that song

You've led me where you're never found
I would've waited but don't you see?
Lingering in my heart for quite a time long,
Still you've never found about love and me.
