Are You In Your Earthly Hell Poem by Francis Duggan

Are You In Your Earthly Hell

Are you in your Earthly Hell and your moods all black
And you feel that lady luck has passed you by and on you turned her back
Out of work and out of hope things not going your way
Can tomorrow be much worse than it is today?
The recession biting in times are getting tough
And you have convinced yourself 'twould seem that you are not good enough
To make a success of your life your negativity weighing you down
Few if any wish to know the sad sack of the town
That money speaks all languages that we all do know
Those with millions in money never friendless their friends in numbers grow
Millions like you without hope in the World of today
Life for them a struggle it has always been this way
Are you poor and without hope in the pit of despair
Living in your Earthly Hell weighted down by care?
