Armyman's Life Poem by Anshul Bhatnagar

Armyman's Life

Rating: 5.0

It is easier to run, let go and live ones life,
the strength within can overcome the fear; and give us life

*what is in his mind*
one would think, consider, ponder more than a thousand times,
but, what is it that would truly happen once somebody does that in time;

once strong, looking at memories to regain those sights
if one has to survive, one has to let go even this time,

*what does he value the most*
either one can survive; or one can go back to help defend ones mates this time,
victory comes from fight not from survival, for the state of mind;
is not based upon history written but; from the peace of mind

*what is stopping him*
so he thinks, let me ponder one more time,
would i be able to make it possible this time?

*what he needs*
a happy life,
a good wife,
respect for parents,
maybe 2 kids
and simple life,

lot of friends,
a cup of wine,
a drum beat
& probably;
a roasted deer to dine,

*when he goes ahead, he finds*
the foes have retreated,
the slaughter has stopped,
the soldier's are happy celebrating a victory tonight,
the orders have come,
the victory is ours tonight,
its time to go back,
get the planned life this time,

Bags are packed,
trains are booked,
going to go back this time,

meet up the parents,
propose the woman I love this time,

*when trains come to station*
The soldier gets on the train to go back this time,
the schedule set the train starts on time,
the train goes station to station,
the soldier looks at scenery outside, greenery & nature
& remembers his love at this time,

*when trains comes to pause at a station*
The soldier looks at time, at station
& in his own eyes;
the eyes remember his bride,
with nations pride, battle victory we are going to celebrate,
celebrate when I come home to propose you at night,
we are going to have dinner together, just hold on tight,

*train starts again, again going further, but, this time, it's the station he has to goto tome this time*
The train goes slowly, gaining momentum, gaining speed, gaining pace,
the soldier can actually see, he can look outside,
the windows covered with curtains,
he actually peeps outside from time to time,
He find finally the trains slowing to halt at a station,
the station master, the signal, the train pauses slowly at this time,

The train doors open,
& the soldier goes out slowly at this time,
the family waiting the soldier cheers up;
which cheers up the soldiers face this time,

Finally home, has the solder arrived,
the soldier & family goes with car to home,
the bride he has to propose,
knew him from before,
cheers up on seeing him home this time,

He sends her message to connect back with him,
if she likes, if suits her to be married to the groom as an soldier
this time,
she finally accepts the proposal,
for herself to meet up & get married this time,
She visits her at restaurant, to celebrate his victory together this time,
the bread & toast, the soda works perfectly with rhyme,
the bride likes him, loves him at heart, asks him to talk to parents this time,
the soldier smiles and says cheers, while getting up from a chair,
she speaks back cheers with a humble smile.
They visit her family, with family,
they all like the families,
the presence of each other
& together they plan a wedding plan this time,
the wedding ceremony organized,
the reception & ceremony take place,
the families present,
the presence of bride & groom,
the couple formed,
the traditions followed,
the lovely guests entertained,
the food & supper, & toast for the victory & marriage,

**COMPLETE**

They Lived Happily Ever After
Thank You!
