As Human.... Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I did everything I could as human
Luck too favored me as good omen
It was perfectly going well with no resistance
It required no extra efforts or special insistence

How much one need in a life to live with comforts?
He or she may need complete freedom to fly from ports
Living luxurious style in palatial buildings or forts
There is no end to fancy and device to support

A good or bad person tries to collect as much as possible
He fears from bad publicity and wants to remain invisible
He makes sure that it does not boomerang on him
He involves many in his venture as team

He understands the futility behind all his thinking
He too understands his ship may any time be sinking
There is still more appetite for wealth and greed
He has taken full precaution to lead double role and agreed

This is common perception to find in all
They find it easy to scale the wall
They think why not to avail it now?
Let there be any means but it should come any how

I never hesitated to go for easy short cut
There was compulsion and no easy way out
Who bothers for ethical values and principals?
We greedily await the fortune’s arrivals

I may not have the time to shed tears
Heart acts like hard stones and bears
All shocks and to prepare for counter move
Presentation of another face and innocence to prove

You go as usual in your calculation
Nothing comes out from you as pure revelation
You have created a strong wall or nothing to let out
Still you are unable to hide your compete where about

This is only mistake you have created for your survival
You have failed to go in for any spiritual revival
In any crisis your strong belief comes to your rescue
You maybe saved from future curse even if it is due


You may prepare any self defense to argue
Nothing may bale you out for future rescue
It is sure to invite nature’s fury and wreath
You may remember it all at the time of death

At the end time your heart is full of remorse
You feel like to push all bad memories by force
Nothing compensates you not even your conscience
You are repentant for your life’s complete defiance

It is the way you lead in normal way
You may also keep aloof and stay away
You are part of the system and got to stay
Only concentrate on right way and sincerely pray
